Son Dam Bi& AfterSchool "AMOLED"

afterschooldambi_20090723.jpg
The anticipated collaboration project between Pledis Entertainment’s power players, After School and Son Dam-bi, is finally here.
As was announced earlier, these girls will not be performing this song on any music broadcasting shows, which now makes absolute sense because this project is part of Son Dambi’s endorsement deal with Samsung. Just like Big Bang and 2NE1’s collaboration, “Lollipop,” the song “Amoled” is strictly for advertising purposes.
Son Dam Bi gets a lot of screen time, since this is her endorsement deal, not After School’s. Yet the girls get some time to shine, but mainly as glorified backup dancers.

Clazziquai's MV "We leave in OZ"

LG OZ mobile phone....Check out the making of the CF at http://www.ozgeneration.com/....
The MV for Clazziquai’s endorsement song, “We Live in Oz” is sweet and simple. Utilizing the page turning and moving pictures effect, the MV is filled with endorsement photos of Lee Yeon-hee, Kim Bum, Kim Ki-bum, Yoo Seung-hoo, Kim Min-ji, and Choi Ah-ra, as well as Ho-ran and Alex singing leisurely in an outdoor setting.

SK Broad & IPTV and pop star Rain are working hand in hand to bring fans a new channel entirely dedicated to Rain. Talk about being self absorbed.

SK Broad & IPTV and Rain actually have a history of working together previously on his fifth album, since “Rainism” comeback footage was released through “Broad & TV.” Due to the great response to their previous collaboration, the two are getting together again to create the first celebrity IPTV channel. So basically, you get a channel that gives you nothing but Rain coverage, all day every day. A representative of J. Tune Entertainment stated,

Since this is the first attempt at such a project, we feel a strong sense of responsibility but hope that through the Rain channel, we will be able to and will also strive to popularize personal artists channels such as this. Also, we will use this opportunity to work to extend our community with fans.

Rain's pictorial in the French Alps

Rain (real name Jun Ji Hoon) was recently in the French Alps for a fashion shoot for his clothing brand Six to Five. Rain and his crew photographed at Club Med in the South of France using the backdrop of the breathtaking French Alps. They also went to a place called the Savoy Chalet to take advantage of its traditional architecture, modern interior and elegant sophisticated feel. I am sure the European pictures will turn out great.

Rain's European shoot will appear in Elle Magazine's (Korea) August 2009 issue.

Meanwhile, Rain has plans for a global fan meeting which carries the theme "PEACE". The fan meeting will be held at Kyunghee University in Seoul on 26 July, 2009.
